Job Responsibilities

• Personal Care: Assist clients with personal tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Meal Preparation: Prepare nutritious meals and assist clients with feeding, if necessary.
• Medication Management: Provide reminders for medication and ensure timely and accurate medication intake.
• Companionship: Engage clients in meaningful conversations, recreational activities, and social interactions.
• Light Housekeeping: Help maintain a clean and safe living environment for clients by performing tasks like dusting, vacuuming, and laundry.
• Mobility Assistance: Aid clients with mobility challenges, ensuring safe transfers and support during daily activities.
• Communication: Regularly update the care team and family members regarding the client's health and well-being.
• Record Keeping: Document care provided and any changes in the client's condition or needs.

Qualifications

• Certification: A relevant certification in caregiving or Home Health Aide is a plus.
• Experience: Prior experience in a home care setting or similar environment preferred.
• Skills: Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively and empathetically.
• Physical Ability: Capable of lifting or assisting clients, if required, and perform tasks like bending, standing, or walking for extended periods.
• Background: Must pass a comprehensive background check.
• Transportation: Reliable transportation to travel to client's homes.
• References: Strong references indicating reliability, punctuality, and a genuine passion for caregiving.
